Cool Video

blackhole from arjanM on Vimeo.

I love videos that visualize music in an abstract way like this. This is the sort of stuff I always imagine when I am listening to music. Anyone else out there imagine visuals when they listen to or are making music?

My whole project is based on what I see in my head. If I'm not having powerful, action based visuals then its probably not a good song to release.

This is also a huge part of why I've never really gotten into vocal projects since Vox are probably the most objective force one can add to a mix...unless you are just babbling in tongues or something then its just plain distracting. Rap anyone? Strong nasty beat...lotta nonsense.. etc.

I use to have intense abstract visualizations to my favorite music (all quite naturally I might add)...sadly they have mostly disappeared over the years (probably due to things unnatural I might add)...or perhaps the quality of music just isn't what it was...or more likely, the quality of ME isn't what it was LOL

Absolutely. I think that's testament to whether or not a song "does it" for you. Sometimes I see brief cut aways. Other times it's an entire sequence. Great to be taken away like that.
